One movie & several television programs were filmed here. When asked why the fact that many Hollywood stars visited the Tavern was never publicized, Audrey's answer was, " Honey, .. That's why they come." The current owners are Joy Ovington Wilson & her husband, Wayne. They have said that they will carry on the traditions of the Tavern & will endeavor to protect the Tavern for the enjoyment of future generations. "It's a tremendous responsibility but we will do our best." The manager is John Locke. He has over 37 years of management experience in food service. He has been general manager of the Cold Spring Tavern since May Our chef is Moises Bernal. Moises has guided our kitchen staff for over 15 years. He is the guardian of the tavern's historic menu & is especially good at creating the daily specials. I know you will enjoy the results of his efforts. We consider our employees to be a family who all consider the Tavern to be a very special place. Many of them have been here for over 12 or more years. It is their desire that everyone who makes the effort to come to the Tavern should be treated to a dining experience like they have not enjoyed before. We never change & that goes for the high quality of our food & the excellence of our service.
