Don't Go To SM FORD LINCOLN MERCURY. Very shady service dept. I paid to have my key code changed so my old keys would not work. A "friend" had borrowed my pickup and would not return it. I had it towed into Santa Maria Fordd. Well they made new keys but did NOT change the code. So, okay. I paid my "freind" to return old keys. They STILL worked. He would have had my pickup for another thirty days if I did not pay him. Dealership admitted error in person but would not admit it 'offiically" nor refund money. Crooked dept. Can't be trusted. Check out their ratings on various web sites. LOW LOW

Lying Rats!. While on vacation my 2005 Ford Escape caught fire. It was Sunday so we had it towed to Santa Maria Ford to be looked at on Monday when their service dept reopened.

While there we decided to buy a 2011 Escape.

Once that decision was made the service manager magically appeared to work on his own motor home (using service dept equipment) so he looked at my car and informed the sales manager it had $2000-$4000 worth of damage. This lead to me getting less than half the low blue book value as a trade in.

Fwd a few weeks and I sent my car ins company to get a damage estimate, $580 parts and labor included.

Either I was lied to, or the service manager is so utterly incompetent he shouldnt be trusted to check tire pressure.

DO NOT GO TO SANTA MARIA FORD NO MATTER WHAT!!. If I could give this place a -10 I would.... Okay, let me start off by saying this is the WORST dealership I have ever been to....They pressure you and harass you to buy a car and you can't even think about the RIGHT decision. ... it's filthy dirty , the restrooms are horrible and STINK! Their customer service is HORRIBLE. I have never ever been to a more horrible dealership. They are slimy and don't care about the customers. They had to work on my car and gave me this PIECE of JUNK clunker with NO gas in it and after spending all day supposedly "detailing" it , there was dirt everywhere, had not even been vacuumed and the dash was covered in dust. There cars are filthy and they have NO idea how to treat their customers... hmm I wonder why they are always so dead with NO customers in line.. maybe if they went a LITTLE out of their way for a paying customer they would have more customers. Please save your sanity and money and go elsewhere.. THEY ARE HORRIBLE, They stand out and smoke cigarettes and make promises they can't keep! ooooohh and another thing... NOONE is nice.. everyone looks at you like your a foreign object or an alien... noone smiles or says hello. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!
