I paid for my new phone with a 2 year contract, told I would see no prorated fees, no surprise fees, no line charges, just the 39.99 for my first month plus my $10 for txt messages. My first bill comes along and what do i see??! over $120 in fees! I called immediately after seeing my bill, was told that i signed the 2 year contract and that the salesperson should have told me about the fees and surcharges.

They will lie to your face. I specifically asked about a service plan for my I pad and was told it did not exist. But when I called Verizon's 800 number I was told the plan did exist (it was less than what I was sold at the store). I do think they are more concerned about commissions than customer satisfaction.
Review for Verizon Wireless Customer Service. I went into this store inquiring about an upgrade for mine and my daughters phones. I wanted to specifically know the difference between an iphone and smartphone. I was told they were the same thing and they both cost 199.99. I got no upgrade, but did some further research when I got home and learned that there is certainly a difference between the two and an extreme price difference, too. I'll never go there again. This salesperson makes me feel as though all he was looking for was some commission.
Dishonest or unknowledgeable. My wife signed up to get a modem to plug in to computer which would get wireless virtually everywhere. Said she had 50 megs of data per month, which was a lot supposedly well bill after first month was almost 300 dollars. did not get bill for two months. verizon said it could do nothing about bills over one month old. My wife was told she could cancel anytime. i called today to cancel. was told fine. that will cost 160 dollars.
sales rep not fully dislosing ,to say the least.
