((((((((ARROGANT SERVERS WITH GRANDIOSE ATTITUDES)))))))). I would not take my dog there to eat... The food stinks, and the service sucks.. You do nothing when you get there other than wait. The only thing they didn't mess up was the beer,,, and thank god it came out of a sealed bottle... I can't say anything good about this place, other than they should close as soon as possible...and save others from the experence I had during my visit to lompoc.... Travelers beware of this one....!!!!

ARROGANT SERVERS WITH GRANDIOSE ATTITUDES!. I have family that live in Lompoc. When I go to visit they always want me to go to Saletti's restaurant, I think they are (rightfully) embarrassed by any other food establishment there! Well, I finally took the plunge... Wow, what a HUGE disappointment! First of all, the new owner(s) is/are so complacent (Lazy?) (Afraid of their employees?) that the employees think that THEY are the owners which seems to be just fine by the actual two new owners! The employees are very arrogant and have a Grandiose Complex..."Yes, No", Whatever... Not much other conversation here... (to good for us "out of towners?") While they are busy horse ass*ng around, flirting with one another! Oh well, We ordered cocktails appetizers and drinks. The dinner came before the cocktails or appetizers. (Oh, by the way, we never did get our appetizers) The food is what I would expect to recieve "on the road", nothing at all exceptional or anything to write home about. but ok if the price wasn't out the roof! Now call me spoiled but I go to a supposedly "nice" (EXPENSIVE) place to relax, have a nice dinner, and (for the sky high prices they charge) pampered just a tiny bit!...fully expecting to pay the price... Absolutely NOT HAPPENING HERE! I guess it is partially my fault for agreeing to go, but then again having grown up in an Italian family, and loving the friendly family atmosphere and delicious food, I guess I kind of expected it here, as that IS how they promote themselves after all! All I can say is that they should drop the "ITALIAN" from their name and/or description!

Mediocre at best. You could do much better for the price. The food is "American Italian" with no flavor. If you want to spend less and get better food, go across the street to La Botte. You will be amazed at the difference.

AAA Quality Food, Great Service, Nice Atmosphere. Wow, did the other people actually eat at the same place I did? I eat there at least once a weak, and never have the problems these others apparently had. I think if a guy thought the bill was too high, he should have left when he saw the menu, apparently he has not been out to eat lately, aside of fast food. As for someone warning him about not ordering Italian, well, that is nuts. John Saletti just happens to be Italian, so is his dad, and as gourmet chef, from 5 star establishments, I think he knows how to prepare Italian food. When it comes to the fish, steaks, and other special meals, they use only the finest fresh ingredients, not that frozed junk you find elsewhere that has to be deep fried to be any good.

Bottom line, I am proud to bring my friends there, my business associates, and most importantly my wife. Salettis is one of the best gourmet restaurants in Lompoc.

Over Priced, Crowded and Subpar Food. It took us a while to be seated and both my wife and I sat on the same side of the table and faced a wall. I had already heard not to order the Italian food if your Italian. I ordered a higher priced steak and wasn't happy with it. It was tough and dripping with vinegar and oil. The worst part yet was getting the over-priced bill.
