Guadalupe's Best

Hello, My name is cuate and i just discover this restaurant bar this weekend.

Iv'e been coming to guadalupe for years to visit cousin and aunts and never had the change to visit The Far Western.

Well, i will like to thank's my cousin Sylvia for dragging me to the Far Western for cocktails.

Service was excellent and a very cool lounge bar.

Next visit i would like to have dinner and for sure the steak are to die for!

Too expensive for the quality and serving size

The last time I went to the Far Western was exactly that.....the last time I would ever visit this restaurant. The wait for our dinner wasn't bad, but the quality of the food has certainly gone way down hill. The steaks used to be larger and I was surprised at the tiny portion I received. The prices have gone way up to the point of being ridiculous. It used to be a rather reasonably affordable steak house, but this time, I felt like I was buying stock in the company. I will never eat at this restaurant again, unless, of course, I win the lottery.

Over rated

not what I expected. as the last time we were there my steak was not done to my order. I ordered med. rare

and it arrived med well or worse and the server acted put out that I complained . When I pay 32.00 for a

steak I think it should be to my order. I had to sit there and twiddle my thumbs while they cooked another

piece of meat. i thin k they could have at least offered a glass of wine while I waited and watched the rest

of our group eat theie meals.
