If you plan to buy a Toyota, do not have it serviced at this dealership. They charge for warranty work that was authorized by Toyota USA!
I had a leaking water pump, and they could not give me a straight answer on weather or not it was covered by Toyota. After hemming and hawing for 2 days it finally got fixed and when I went to pick up my FJ Crusier, they had tacked on a $50 "deductible" that was not on my service ticket. After numerous attempts I could not even get Kristy Flannigan - Service and Parts Director to return my call. Sad. It is now reported to AMEX to fight it out.
I now understand my my long term service liaison is not longer working there. Horrible service and crappy customer service are not what keeps a car dealership in business. Too bad this long term customer will be driving to Ventura for dealer needs and finding a local shop to do other work.
A horrible reflection on the good folks who make mostly trusty Toyota vehicles.
BE ON YOUR TOES - sales MANAGER lied
and pulled the old "bait and switch" on prices- even with my FAXED price quote I had them send me. Liars? "oh no, not us" the manager said, "just a mistake".
Ultimately they made good on the deal- but not without a fight -
Great Job. I really liked my sales person. He was knowledgeable about the different models and the possible add-ons. He was not a high-pressure salesman. He took time to answer our questions thoroughly. Great Job!
Fiendly and "Non-Pushy". I was very pleased with my experience at Toyota of Santa Barbara. The sales men were great. Friendly and "non-pushy." They really tried hard to meet all of our needs, and for that I am truly grateful.
Great Place. This place is great! The staff pulled together to locate the exact vehicle I wanted with my specifications. Service like this is rare to find these days.
