Bad Customer Phone Service. We called this store 3 times this afternoon for information about a new lawn mower. The first two times, after going through the standard, "for this department, press 1, for this department, press 2"-all the way up to press 8 at which time it started back at 1 for a whole list of new departments, we finally got the garden department and a person named Corinna. As soon as we asked about if they had lawn mowers for sale, she disconnected the phone. The third time I called, the first person I spoke to in the garden department didn't even know if they had lawn mowers for sale, because I heard her ask somebody in the background. She came back on the line and told me, "Yes, we have lawn mowers." I then asked to speak to someone who knew something about them, so I was transferred to another lady who told me some prices of a few different brands. So much for somebody who knew something about lawn mowers! This experience most likely will not prevent me from shopping there in the future, because frankly, I don't have a lot of options in this neck of the woods.…
oops. that review i left was not for this kinder review but for the others.
may be a good place on the outside. this store i'm not to sure about, i have seen the managers in acction, the store manager is awsome, but the other managers are a joke, and the front end supvisor is a joke, i have noticed that alot of the cashiers are not allowed to go home no matter how sick they r, one almost passed out while helping customers, some of the store associates continually cussing around customers, some of the associates are friendly and proffessional, after relizing how this store wrks i wonder if the home depot really cares about there staff, or if they jst care about the money, i went to other local building and lumber stores and found better help and the treatment there was great, they treated there staff really good ( haywards lumber, goleta building supplies) etc...if you have a chance to shop there instead of the home depot then do it..cause this place is a joke...the por desk is helpful and there bathrooms is always clean but thats the only thing there thats good..well home depot good luck in your future, i wish they would build a lowes in town here maybe that would help them..-) have a nice day…
