This is what a barber shop should be.
No cutesie receptionist, no wash station, no rack of "product" for sale. Just an old school barber shop with a big LCD TV that is always tuned in to ESPN. The barbers are friendly and conversational, the price is great, and I have never received a bad haircut from this place. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they won't give a straight razor shave at this place. I don't get them regularly, but wanted one the morning of my wedding and had to settle for the place at Fairview shopping center instead. For my haircuts, I still come here every time. The alternative is the Supercuts across the parking lot, where you are sure to have at least a half hour wait and it is a crapshoot whether or not the latest high school dropout to work there will give you a decent haircut for a higher price.
