Cold Spring Tavern

Hidden From The World. Without a doubt one of my favorite road side stops in California, this fully preserved stagecoach stop features excellent food and drink and a welcome respite during a weekend getaway. Difficult to find and off the the 154 under the gorgeous Cold Spring Canyon bridge, this is a must find place, particularly on weekends when they open up the outdoors with bands and barbecue. But if you miss that fear not, the cozy inside will take you back to the wild west in with the original decor but not the food, which is some of the best, most unique ingredients. Seek it out.…

Hidden gem off the beaten path. This restaurant and bar is a favorite of mine because I love places that not everyone frequents. A place that takes a drive to get to but once you get there you feel like your worlds away from home and transplanted back in time. It's an old stagecoach stop for travelers between Solvang/101 to Santa Barbara w/o taking the freeway or coast. Great spot if your into places where you don't like being seen and just integrating with the locals.…
