I can't complain about these people. They pick up my suits and shirts and return them no charge although not the cheapest in town I have only had one shirt in 5 years I thought they treated a bit rough but could have been me. Given how much I use them I can't complain and have not had the issues of the others. Jim The Real Deal check me out on trip advisor

Unacceptable quality & customer service. I took my wedding dress here to be cleaned and preserved. I opened it up today and it looks like it was put into the box without ever having been cleaned! I called to see if they would rectify the situation. It wasn't cheap paying for the preservation. They said, "Oh that was a different owner. We can't do anything." So, they do not stand by their name nor their work. Not recommended.

best cleaners in santa barbara. I dropped off some cloths at a drycleaners,but it came back with stains and torns I was not satisfied!! My friend recomended American cleaners so I took my cloths to them I showed the owner my the cloths that had been ruined at the other cleaners, The nice lady took my cloth with a smile and and gave me a reasonable price for repairing, and cleaning the garments. when I whent back to pick them up I couldnt believe what a great job they had done i couldnt even tell were the cloths were damaged before. I love American cleaners for their magnificent work!!!

DON'T EVER GO HERE!!!. I dropped my clothes off 3 WEEKS ago, only to still have pieces missing!! Everytime I stopped by I was told to come back another time, the dress is on its way, it had to be recleaned, someone was working on it- a new excuse every time. ALL of the buttons on a sweater were so badly messed up that they sewed on new ones that DIDN'T EVEN MATCH! Who is running this place??? How are they still in business??? I STILL have not gotten my dress back. NEVER bring your clothes here, especially ones you want back. I WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

American Cleaners will lose your clothes. Within the span of 3 weeks, American Cleaners lost 5 shirts and 2 pairs of pants. They were rude and dismissive to me about it.

Stay away, better dry cleaners out there!. I took in my comforter and two pillowcases.

They came back with the same stains and odor, with additional stains from the chemical treatment. When presented to Helen, the owner, she was rude, kept on telling me excuses, and even suggested I was responsible for the stains from the chemical treatment. She was also rude to the person who was at the register (who I thought was at least friendly).

They charge at the normal rate compared to other Santa Barbara dry cleaners. For the amount they charged (and the owner wanted to charge me extra!) I'd be better served taking my service to one of the many other dry cleaners around town for quality dry cleaning AND customer service.
