I only gave it one star because I had to. I went there to sell a PCGS rated gold coin. The lady there said they were the premier rare coin place in the city and that they knew everything. The coin was a one ounce gold coin 112 years old and uncirculated, MS-63+. She spent five minutes calculating an offer, which was 1600, less than the value of the gold content of the coin, not to mention any numismatic value. She then tried to justify that they only pay 85% of what dealers pay ? WTF is that? She had three trays of similar coins in front of her for sale at reatil prices. Plus to offer less than gold value was ABSURD. The coin has a value of over 2300$. She told me I wouldn't find a better deal anywhere, well I sold the coin online and got 2800$.

This place will ROB YOU! Do not go there unless you know what you are doing, they will rip you off.

Love the prices!. i went in there looking to buy an engagement ring and expecting them to be like every other jeweler in town, but they actually took the time to help me find the perfect ring for my now wife. they helped me get the best ring i could for the best price they could do.

Those people are crazy!. I dont know what the other reviewers have been smoking. Ive been going to Gillios ever since I was little, and have never had bad service, not even once. One thing most people dont bother to notice is that they dont open until 12, which explains the door being closed. Odds are, if they didnt let you in, they were closed! DUH! I would recommend them more than any other dealer in SB. The guy on upper State is typically very rude, and the guy on Chapala is never open...I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Prices are hard to come by. What I don't like is that they will not quote a price unless you come in to the store, even after the spot market has closed. This makes it inconvenient to do business with them. Also I got a approximate price for sale of an item from them and it was incredibly lower than spot; by a factor of 75%!!! I am not sure I would get a fair price selling or buying at this establishment.

This was absolutly the worst customer service we have ever come across, we were treated with such disrespect when trying to have a gold buillion appraised employee took one look and locked the door so

we could not enter store, We are also business owners in this town and would never ever consider this store for business in the future,
