Awesome atmosphere. This place is second-to-none. I used to eat here like everyday. Set on the main street of Santa Barbara, a people friendly and slow-moving affair ending at the ocean, this restaurant has a breezy open patio in front leading into a half-enclosed interior. The food is American and Mexican classics but with all-natural, organic breads, meats, and veggies. Staff are mostly hemp-variety and prices average. I would love to eat everyday at this place again, it's the best!

Vegan Dishes, Good Food, Friendly Service. Based on reviews, we tried the Natural Cafe on our recent getaway to Santa Barbara and had a pleasant experience. It was a relaxed cafe with friendly and knowledgable staff who knew my dietary restrictions as a Vegan without me having to explain. The Vegan burritio was very good and there is a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy State St.

Great vegetarian/vegan options!. Went for lunch on a Saturday. No wait despite arriving at a very busy time. I ordered the falafel in pita. Big, tasty falafel's with yummy gingery sauce. My husband ordered the grilled chicken caesar salad. Salad was large, fresh and tasty. Many menu options for vegetarians and vegans, as well as meat eaters. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Great place for those concientious about what they eat. Good food, good prices.

Weird "Natural" Vibe. not bad, definately prime place for people watching on state street, good selection of tea, but cups they are served in are too thick, too healthy chocolate shake, but this is what you get for a health place. the adjacent store offers prime shopping for candles, incense, tonic elixirs, palm readings and other esoteric stuff (that sort of seems out of place in the middle of california, far far away from any true yogi or tibetan monk)

Not impressed.. I was not impressed with Natural Cafe. The food is overrated and bland. It's healthy but that's about it.

Great place. this place has some of the best natural/healthy food i've ever had. a couple of the dishes can be a bit flavorless and dry, but overall i've been satisfied with anything i've had there. i also reccommend the veggie burgers. i don't like that you have to get your own water/napkins/utensils.

healthy. they have delicious food. the smoothies, gardenburger (choice of different types of pattys) yogi platter and the ceaser salads are great. vegan and meat choices for the food. outside patio area is great to ppl watch. it was voted best for alone dinning as well. order at the back of the cafe..the lines can get rather long during lunch time. there is a store connected which has a great variety of teas and new age stuff.
