Good food, nice restaurant. On a nice day, sitting outside in the patio is very pleasant. I have been there a few times. The food is consistently good. It is probably not the most amazing Italian food I have ever eating, but they get points for consistency and atmosphere. I think Pascucci up the street has better food, but it is a larger, louder, and more crowded than Bucatini.

wonderful, quaint, tasty. Bucatini is a Santa Barbara gem. It offers an impressively large and varied menu. Lots of ambience ~ lots of wine bottles on shelves surrounding the interior portion of the restaurant. The fuselli with fresh veggies and aged ricotta was excellent. The bruschetta was the best I've ever had. We didn't feel hurried at all, and enjoyed a long, leisurely dinner...what a refreshing change. Our servers were receptive, patient, and very friendly. The food, service, decor...it all comes together at Bucatini.
