great food and beer.
Went here while on vacation, and my husband and I loved it! The beer was very good, and not too expensive and the food was great too. Our server was very nice and she was attentive. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone in Santa Barbara.

Lazy Thursday.
I live in Seattle and wish there were breezy bars with such good food in my rain-soaked city. The Brewhouse has a genuinely unpretentious vibe with excellent, simple dishes. It?s like somebody in the kitchen said, ?Hey, cheese is good. We should use that.? And another guy said, ?Ya know what else is good? Meat.? And then his buddy goes, ?Yeah, I like meat and cheese. That?s really smart. Let?s also make our food good because people like that.? And then the first guy goes, ?Ok, deal, but I don?t want it to be snooty because I like it when people wear flip flops. It really puts me at ease.? And the third guy comes back with, ?Yeah. Flip Flops. I?m hearing you. They remind me that there?s more to life than a job at a desk, and office air conditioning and tope colored cubical walls.? And guy number two chimes in with, ?Flip Flops and those sweatshirts with the hoods on them when it?s cold.? So yeah, the Brewhouse is great!

I love the Brewhouse!.
You hear a lot of complaints about the Brewhouse: slow, bad service especially. And you know what, yeah it's true. If your a snobby tourist looking to get treated special, don't bother. The Brewhouse is a true locals hangout (thankfully there still are a few.) It's a place where you go for the evening, hang out, have some great beer while waiting (yeah, sometimes a while) for your food. The beers (which you don't have to wait long for) are awesome! The people watching and socializing is awesome, and when the food does arrive, it's delicious. It's a place to hang out for awhile. Go check it out, hang out for awhile, and leave the attitude in LA.

The Brewhouse is a local hidden gem.
The Brewhouse is my favorite neighborhood pub. It's usually bustling there, noisy and interesting. If you are in a hurry, it's better to go somewhere else. Unless you make a reservation, you usually have to wait a few minutes for a table, but you can get a drink at the bar and watch people while you're waiting. The food is exceptional, Mostly American/Mediterranean. They have great steaks, lamb, salads with shepards mix, great garlic mashed potatoes, fine wines, and several exceptional homebrewed beers made right there in the tavern section. They also have salads and sandwiches for $8-10, but the full dinners are about $20. They have both indoor and outdoor tables, a bar area, and tavern section in the adjacent room. The atmosphere is not fancy but it's great food and drink!. They regularly have live bands on the weekends starting about 10pm. Definitely a unique and satisfying experience!

BADHOUSE.
Possibly the rudest, most disrespectful waitresses that did their very best to make me never want to eat there again. The service is terrible and you'll be lucky to get what you ordered in a timely manner. Save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere else.
