Paseo Nuevo Rudy's. I have eaten here. It is a small but nice place. One can eat inside or at the tables outside. Customers order at the cash register, a line forms. There is a menu to read. The Grande Burritto is my favorite. It is large. One can leave your paper plates on the tables, or search for a trash can. That was my problem, they really didnt make it easy to bus your own table.

Huevos Verde, yum. Wandering around on lower State Street we spotted Rudy's and decided to give it a try. Rudy's serves typical Cal-Mex fare and great Huevos Rancheros and Huevos Verde. The service was excellent and obviously the waiter was a professional. He listened, offered guidance, and got our orders out promptly. The food was hot and favorful without overbearing spices and false tones. Unfortunately the torillas were not hand made but those tasteless rounds that are mass produced. But it didn't matter one bit. The food was very good, service way above California Careless and the price was right.

If you find yourself strolling on lower State Street in search of good Mexican Food go to Rudy's.

Easy to miss. This restaurant is hard to miss, we were walking by and barely caught eye of it. We got loaded nachos and a carne asada burrito and the service was very fast. We would like to reccomend this as a nice place to go get some good/cheap mexican food.
