worst ownership and customer service award goes to casey's. if i could rate this shop any lower i would! I went in there for smog and every shop ive been to does a pre inspection and with California's new catalytic converter regulations that i didnt know you have to have matching numbers so he ran the test and failed me after he ran the test and turned it in !

quoting the owner casey himself " oh you failed the visual test and it will be $45 " as i heard him talk to the mechanic" fail the truck and move on to the next one"!

DONT EVER GO TO CASEY'S GARAGE FOR ANYTHING!

What the hell?. The service was fast and prompt but the management wanted to charge me $10.00 per day for "parking fees". Also, they charged me $200.00 to get my tire replaced, which is ridiculous.

Overpriced, not what it used to be. This place said my engine was dead and wanted to charge over $3000 to replace a v6 engine in my '89 Jeep Wrangler. Since I didn't have the money, I waited and thought it over. Glad I did, because a neighbor recommended Airport Motors in Goleta, which charged me $150 for mechanical/engine repair, and sent it over to Erick Krebbs Automotive (behind Vela Pro, next to Pepe's in Goleta) where it cost $1100 for carb replacement and to fix all smog leaks. Passed smog great, drives better than it ever did at over 150k miles.

Casey's USED to be a good place when Casey ran it years ago. Current management is shady and overcharges for unnecessary repairs.

DON'T GO TO CASEY'S!!
