Wonderful breakfast options. After having dinner at Holdren's a couple of doors down, we passed Pierre Lafond on the way to our car. Their breakfast menu caught our eyes and we decided to go there the next morning. When we arrived, there was already a large crowd enjoying their Saturday morning outing with breakfast. We found a window table inside and started to peruse the menu. Their breakfast options were nearly endless...from eggs benedict a dozen ways to pancakes/waffles, to huevos rancheros.

Since I love eggs benedict, I opted for their "Market Garden" version with a side of sausage. In place of the typical benedict slice of Canadian bacon, there was a nice layer of avocado, tomato, and shredded spinach. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and not too lemony...which I love. My eggs were poached a little longer than I normally make for myself, but they were still cooked well.

In checking out what other diners were having, the Belgian waffles looked amazing topped with bananas or strawberries. The chorizo burrito looked filling even without the side of potatoes. I saw a breakfast sandwich on a croissant that also looked delicious.

The next time we head to SB for a weekend getaway...we're doing Pierre Lafond for breakfast every day!

Wonderful healthy food, great customer service. We stopped at the Pierre Lafond in Montecito for dinner on our way back to LA. The food was delicious, with many quick, healthy choices. Great salad bar. I left my handbag there and they shipped it to me in LA. Now that's service!
