Named after the Greek word for wine, husband and wife team Peter and Rebecca Work have created a small-lot labor of love on their ranch, ideally situated amid the cool climate near Buellton and Solvang. Relative newcomers to the area, they planted their first vines in 2001, and produced their first vintage in 2001. Estate vines include two separate bottlings of Pinot Noir, plus Santa Ynez Valley blends of Viognier, rose of Syrah and the trademarked Santa Barbara County "Syrache."
