Excellent Price For Excellent Massage. Dropped in once, had the best massage I've ever had. I will definitely be back soon.

The Massage Place. I've had several massages here. The first two were just ok...nothing impressive. I decided to give it one more chance and scheduled with Roger since he had gotten such good reviews for deep tissue work, which is what I prefer. My 90 min appt was awesome. He was definitely good. I scheduled another 90 min appt for one week later. I drive 45 mins to downtown Santa Barbara, and arrived 15 mins early. Approximately 7 mins before my scheduled appt, Roger calls in sick with 103 degree temp. Now when do you think he knew he was sick. I certainly hope it was long before my appt was scheduled. The receptionist was very flip and said "oh, so sorry". I asked if anyone else could see me since I had driven down and she said she could get me in at 6:15, which is three hours past my appt. Are you kidding me!!! Unfortunately even though Roger is good, massages are cheap, I will not grace the doors of The Massage Place again. Customer service should always come first and you can only hope that the therapist is responsible enough to cancel appts in advance if he isn't feeling well.
