MAMA AND NICKI WE LOVE YOU!!!!. Catarina and Nicki owned the restaraunt for years and years and then decided they needed a break, what a mistake! They leased it to the Saletti's, who totally ruined the business and from what I hear the building as well! They now (after much cleanup and renovation, not to mention expense!) have it back, and are dedicated to the fine service that we here in Lompoc are used to, and expect from this fine upstanding AUTHENTIC italian family (not like the Salett*s across the street!) The food is wonderfully authentic Italian and the owners are regular folks, that aim to please, from MAMA greeting you personally at the door and maybe singing a soft tune at your table, to owner/chef Nicki giving you a "taste test" of his newest creation. You really do feel just like family at La Botte's, and you dream of going back! No pressure, fine food, great company, reasonable prices, family atsmophere, what more could you ask for?

Yum Yum Yum Yum Yum. Great food for the price. The atmosphere is amazing. A must try! Thank you mama! Your food is delicious, your singing makes me feel right at home.

Authentic Italian Cuisine. I was excited to hear that an authentic italian restaurant was opening back up in town. One that everyone could afford and one that didn't specialize in steaks but rather focused their attention on Italian foods unlike Salettis which was in that location before them. If you want a friendly atmoshpere with great service and great Italian food be sure to try La botte. If you want expensive steaks and stuffy service go across the street, they'll take your $70 for two and give you a mediocre meal. Thanks La Botte for bringing real Italian food and service back to Lompoc, we missed you!

Highly Recommended. I highy enjoy this restaurant. It is by far my favorite in the city. The restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere, from the staff and owners. The food is absolutely authentic, by far the best place to go for an excellent Italian meal. Once you step though the doors, you will instantly feel like family, and completely enjoy your envening out. I highly recommend La Botte.

Good Italian. The food is good and the service is friendly, but can be slow. It's expensive for Lompoc, but if you're craving authentic Italian, this is the only place for it.
