Modern, Trendy, and Food That Awakens Your Senses.
Amazing, amazing, amazing food. They have a notable celebrity chef (I forgot what his name is right now [sorry]) The chef puts foods together that you wouldn't - and it's sooooo good. Especially because you're already in the mood for experimenting with tastes (given the fact that you're probably wine-tasting out there) - this restaurant is definitely one not to miss.
It's high-end, so costs about an avg of $30-45 for an entree.
Juan was our waiter. Make sure you ask for him. He gives you background information about everything you ask about on the menu. Soooo polite. A smile on his face the entire time. He's really passionate about what he does.
We were seated in the outdoor area with the fireplace. Nice ambiance indoors and out. Beautiful setting, and great food. Would definitely go back! :)

Turned off by Route246.
My friend & I went to Route 246 at 5:00PM on Saturday evening. We were completly turned off by the attitude of the host and hostess at the front desk.
Although we did not have a reservation, we were told that we could be seated & served dinner in the lounge. We were then reluctantly seated in far dark corner of the lounge.
The seating was very very uncomfortable and not conducive to eating any type of food (maybe appetizers).
After sitting in the dark for at least 15 minutes & being ignored by a number of waiters & waitresses, we decided to leave.
While being ignored we did have time to peruse menu.
Most items on the menu seemed somewhat mediocre
and ordinary.
We were extremely disappointed with the attitude of the host and hostess (seemed as though they have been practicing in a West LA or Beverly Hills restaurant.)
We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a fine dining experience, unless
they want to feel less than welcome.
