Some Chicken is ground NOT whole breast. I just had lunch here and made the mistake of ordering a chicken and pasta dish right off the menu. When it arrived, it had crumbled pieces of chicken mixed in with a super-oily pasta... I ate a few bites, but not much more.

While I was eating my disappointing pasta, I saw the guy next to me had pasta with a big fat chicken breast on the top. I asked the guy behind the counter why I had nasty, crumbly ground chicken and the guy next to me had a solid breast... he told me I didn't ask for a breast. Hmmm... menu said chicken breast, no mention of ground or solid. Oh well.

Delicious Pasta!. My family of 8 and i went there for dinner and it was delicious. It's a fast casual, so not an appropriate place to take someone on a date, but the pasta is delicious. And you can get a coupon from restaurant dot com and get a great deal :)

With its brightly lit dining room and tables for two placed all throughout, California Pasta ensures a welcoming and quiet dining experience. Order one of their specialty salads or fresh soups to start and then indulge on one of their ample-sized sandwiches, like the Cajun Chicken Avocado, filled with juicy, perfectly seasoned chicken breast. Although, small from the outside, this pint-sized eatery caters their fresh food for parties of any size.

Tiny place, but still pretty good. Don't be fooled by the name, pasta-haters. This small restaurant also has soup, salad and hefty sandwiches on their menu, which are actually better tasting than their pasta. My favorite is the cajun chicken sandwich. The chicken is just right, not too spicy and it even comes with a big caesar sald on the side.This is definitely the perfect place for somewhat light lunch and it is also located right on State St, Santa Barbara's main drag, so you'll be in for an entertaining people-watching session.
