1. the doctor forgot to sign on my lab test form, so I have to make a second visit

2. they forgot to register me for the medicine, so I have to wait ANOTHER MONTH

The absolute best dermatologist in santa barbara, or anywhere

I have been going to Dr. Hammond off and on for almost 30 years. The only reason I didn't go to him for a while was due to changes to insurance. I know there are a lot of good dermatogists in this town, because of all the sun, but Dr. Hammond is beyond the best. He is so smart it's scary. Had to go to another dr. for a wart on my finger and he finally gave up after about 10 treatments. I paid cash to go to Dr. Hammond, and he had it off on the first visit. He is an EXCELLENT diagnostician. He definitely knows his stuff and can tell you right then and there what's going on, and he doesn't try to make you come around any more than he feels you have to. He is the absolute best dr. in Santa Barbara. I only wish he was a physician in every field, I would feel so safe. He is also the funniest man i have ever met in my life, and the kindest. Just don't run to him and leave me without him, that's all I have to say.

• Cons: Wish he could solve ALL my medial problems.

Excellent Dermatologist

Dr. Hammond is highly recommended. He diagnosed what turned out to be a wart on the ball of my foot when other dermatologist misdiagnosed it as a callous that could be taken care of with over the counter callous removers. I got to a point where I could not walk without pain and, within a minute he correctly diagnosed the problem. His skill and care allowed me to have instant relief, and the problem is completely resolved. Thank you for your care.
