I was pleasantly suprised.. The bf and I came down here for a friend's wedding and I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was great - good sized and had a wall of windows with a great window seat under it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wedding was in their courtyard on Saturday night and I liked the set up. They did the ceremony in a little fountain area and then the cocktail hour was around the pool - the downfall was that the pool was occupied by kids and guests of the hotel. That took a little away from the ambiance. The dinner and dancing was in a great location with a beautiful lantern/lights for the dance floor

Hotel is gorgeous..... Hotel is gorgeous- we stayed in the historic part and the room was great- peeked into one of the rooms in the newer part and the rooms were beautiful also. Full bar and wine cellar a plus, and the location to wine country was perfect for us. Did not eat in the Hotel restaurant but heard its wonderful. Will absolutely stay again.

Elegant and clean. Very elegant and clean. We shopped around and this was absolutely the best deal for the best price. If you stay in the Designers Suites you have a patio (Stay in Betty Davis or John Wayne for the patio access). The staff was overwhelmingly helpful and attentive. Very  high class and "old world Hollywood". You'll feel the glamor of the 50's with an LG flat screen with tons of channels (but who's watching with the pool and multiple fountains?) the best of both worlds.

We recommend the Santa Maria Inn to all our friends. Thank you for response during our stay. We enjoying staying there. We recommend the Santa Maria Inn to all our friends during their travels down south along 101. We come down to stay and visit family in the area. We shall be down again during the Holidays and we will be staying there.

kind. We just loved Frederick and "In-Training." They were kind, welcoming, and made our stay just divine. We appreciated the wi-fi very much, also.

wonderful wine tasting!. wonderful wine tasting!: Great old English style. Good service. Great spa and wine cellar. I liked the small town feel and friendly people. Pismo beach is only 20 minutes away.
